Privacy Policy (beta)

Last updated October 14, 2026. PlainFees is in beta; this policy is plain and short on purpose.

What we collect

What you email us: your name/business name, email address, and the merchant processing statement you send.
Anything you type into the fee grade tool stays in your browser. It is not sent to us.
Basic hosting logs kept by our host (e.g., IP address, pages visited).

Please don't send

Card numbers, full account or merchant numbers, passwords, or bank logins. Black out account numbers before emailing a statement.

How we use it

Only to produce your audit report, reply to you, and (if you ask) help reduce your fees. Statements are processed by automated software and reviewed by a person before any report is sent. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.

Sharing

We share your information only with service providers needed to run PlainFees (e.g., email and hosting), or with your processor if you explicitly authorize us to negotiate for you, or if required by law.

Retention and deletion

We keep statements only as long as needed to deliver the audit and any service you request. We delete your statement and report on request. Email plainfees@mail.grokbot.com with "delete my data".

Changes

We may update this policy as the beta evolves; the date above will change.
